Hi, I’m Michelle Brass.
I’m a speaker, writer, and health and wellness coach deeply committed to the health and well-being of Indigenous peoples and communities. My work is focused on the areas of Indigenous food sovereignty, Indigenous health and wellness, personal healing and transformation, and community well-being.
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here.
I offer 1:1 coaching packages and group coaching programs to ensure you receive the right support in reaching your health and wellness goals. Reach out to see if we'd be a great fit in working together!
I speak on issues related to Indigenous health and wellness, food sovereignty, eating an Indigenous diet, and the impacts of climate change on Indigenous communities and our food systems.
I offer workshops on the topics of Indigenous food sovereignty and security, cooking classes and healthy food preparation, eating an Indigenous diet, healthy living, and community well-being.
The SHAWL Program
The SHAWL Program is a health and wellness program that leads people to become Sustainable Health and Wellness Leaders (SHAWL), and eventually SHAWL Certified Facilitators within their communities. We address the aspects of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, rooted in an Indigenous approach to community well-being, and lead participants to understand the direct relationship between the health and healing of our people to the health and healing of Mother Earth, and vice versa.
